Hostest with the mostests

Well Ive had more than a few parties held at my flat, and in my experience it all depends on a few factors which have proved to work.

(1) Music...a mixture of old and new works for me, with the softer type of
music in the background towards the end of a night can create a very
relaxed atmosphere.

(2) Lightning...Important to create the correct atmosphere when a party is
still early bright, although not too bright a light is called for espicially if the
if food being served, after that well dimming the lights bit by bit also creates a smoothing atmosphere

(3) Food....This is also important, i mainly do chinese style buffett, small bit size nibbles, mixed in with larger dishes make everyone happy and content.

(4) Drinks...Always good to lay on a few drinks, beer, wine, spirits etc but also soft frinks and bottles of cold water.

(5) Being a good host...this is something im very good at making sure people have enough food, something to drink or just asking how they are makes everyone feel relaxed.

(6) Condoms...Important to promote safe sex, and providing other items, lube, towls, a place to freshen up etc

(7) talk....ive found that conversation with every guest when they arrive, taking there coats, showing where things are, toilet/kitchen/bedrooms etc oh and toilet paper (beleive me thats something not to forget )

Well thats a few ideas that ive done to make my parties a success, you may agree or disgree with some, any or all of the above I can only say that it has worked.

Ive got a party at mine on wednesday night so points 1-7 will be followed

Here's a suggestion in the food category: If you're having a small late night gathering, serve fresh fruit pieces (strawberries, cantaloupe, honey dew, seedless grapes, pineapple, etc) with a chocolate sauce for dipping. Chocolate sauce is always sexy, and strawberries and chocolate sauce is the stuff great movie scenes (remember 9-1/2 Weeks?) are made of. It's also good because it's light on your stomach and leaves your breath fresh, unlike cheese & crackers or veggies & garlicky dips.

Unfortunely flkeyscouple my friend was taken ill and she couldnt make it being as she was the guest of honour, it was better to rearrange it, however she is a lot better and its been arranged for this comming sunday, so i can let you know how it went, also got a chinese food party night on the 2nd december so that should be fun and loads for me to cook for my friends.
