Question about Meet and Greet

I am hosting my first meet and greet. We will be having dinner at a local restraunt and lounge. There are about 15 couples and a couple of single women who are attending. I am getting ready to send out my final email with all the details to those who are attending.

Any advice on do's and don'ts?

However, my advice do what the group wants to do and is comfortable with. Go with no expectations. Just plan to meet some new people and have fun.

We live in a small town in SW Michigan with only one large city,about 26 miles away, to draw from...our question is how we would go about finding out about up cumming meet and greet get togethers...

Since you have a profile on sls, They have meet and greet listings there

We, just because your state is next to our's, went to look at your sls profile and the window said you dont have an external account ....what the heck is that.?

Fantasy01, log onto SLS and go HERE. This is a list of social groups in Michigan.

An external profile on SLS is a profile that the user has enabled to allow people who are not members (or not logged into) SLS to view. It doesn't show the full profile (as far as all pics). The link from the info here on a post goes to external profiles on SLS (if the user has it enabled).

My one suggestion to you would be to make sure before you go that you know the restaurant will split the bill, and not try to make you take one large tab and then split amongst yourselves. This is where I've seen people get hit the most when hosting things at restaurants. If they restaurant won't split the tab, YOU will get stuck with a large portion of it. Find a restaurant that will not only take a reservation for a large group but that will also split the ticket appropriately.
