Hubby's Birthday - Need Ideas!

My wonderful husband turns 40 this Saturday. He is not happy about this, so I am trying to plan a really great, night to remember, blow-out kind of party.

We have our kids this month, so we cannot have a party at our house. I did get a hotel room, either for the two of us, or the bunch of us, however it turns out. But I cannot originate and maintain a party like this in a hotel.

So, I am looking for ideas … off-premise club or on-premise club? Small gathering at the hotel? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I realize this is kind of last minute, but we are more spontaneous than we are planners and things just kind of sneak up on us …

Do you currently have any good swinger friends you can invite? If so, why not plan a small party at the hotel room and see where it leads.

If you don't already have soem swinger friends to invite and there is a club nearby, make a night of it - let them know it's his birthday - there will be plenty of ladies happy to make it a night he won't forget.

Thanks, Julie … that’s kind of what I was sort of planning. I got the hotel room for US just in case a swing-fest didn’t work out, though he has indicated that IS what he wants. He wants to have an outright wild and crazy night to totally blow him away while turning 40!!!

I have several swinger friends that I hope will come, but I don’t want to bore them (they are all relatively new friends) with a simple hotel get-together, because let’s face it, it can’t be TOO raucous in the hotel room or we could get kicked out!

I am thinking of maybe upgrading to a suite at the hotel, having everyone meet at the hotel and let hubby decide whether he wants to keep the party there or go to a club.

I just feel so limited not being able to truly host a party at my home (because of the kids).

Have you thought of having the kids go and visit Grandma or Auntie for the night? Just a thought.....

I would, except that:

1. we have 7 children between us, and 5 of those kids are with us all month. One of the five is mine, and the other four are his. Mine will be with her dad that weekends, so she is not an issue.

2. we don't have any family close enough to ask them to take them for the weekend.

So, getting "rid" of the kids for the weekend is not an option.

We are also in the middle of a custody battle for one of his kids, so them going to their mom's for the weekend is also not an option. It is an extremely adversarial relationship at this time with her.

I'm sorry that you are going through that - I went through that in my first marriage and my ex trying to gain custody of his daughter. It is very difficult. Hope you have fun this weekend!!!!!!

Husband here with some great advise on what would be any man's perfect birthday present, if you want to do it. Get a nice suite in this hotel, but don't tell your hubby about it. If you know of some single gals in the Lifestyle this would be ideal, but if not, then call a couple of your swinger friends, and tell the couples of this plan of yours and ask them if they would be agreeable since what you are essentially planning requires you to "borrow" the wives for an evening of play.

The plan is this.

Arrange for two gals that you guys have played with before to wait in the hotel room for a prescheduled arrival, which would be before dinner. The ruse is that you are taking him out to dinner, and that you have a nice suite set aside to go to after dinner for just the two of you, but you have to swing by the hotel first and register for the room before dinner so you have it. You need to do some creative pre-planning here so that the hotel is in on your ruse because the ladies have already gotten a key and are upstairs, unbenknownst to your husband. Then make a passing comment that you want to check out the room before you guys go to dinner to make sure its exactly what you wanted. When you go upstairs, lo and behold, there are two hot ladies, in lingerie, sitting on the king sized bed waiting for your arrival, and some lingerie for you to put on. Let the play begin.

After several hours, if all goes as planned, then take him to dinner.

Make sure he takes some Viagra an hour before you leave the house, I will leave up to you the excuse you make up to have him do that.

Ask any man on this Board, this is the best birthday present any man could possibly get from his wife. Best wishes.
