Default Re: Scarring

I have a scar that runs vertically from 1" above my belly button clear down to the hair line, about 9" in all. I also just had a lump removed from my breast. I have never had anyone even ask about the scar or comment on it. I've worn teddys, bikini's and even totally nude in our club without any embarrasement.

As for reducing the appearance. I am currently using a product by Curad called Scar Reducer for the incision on my breast. It's like a bandaid that has a product on it to reduce scar appearance. You wear it 24 hours a day for 8 weeks. Since I just started using it I don't know how well it works but my surgeon gave me the OK. I went topless last night with the patch on and only had one person ask if they could see. Sure no, problem.

So, don't worry we all have imprefections of one sort or another.
