Hi wrnakedru,

I felt that I had to respond after reading. The blood pressure readings would concern anyone, including me. If memory serves, the diastolic(lower number) should not stay above 90. That was one of the reasons I quit smoking, my blood pressure was too high on both systolic and diastolic. The only solutions that I have to give on this would be the same any person (doctor, nurse, a friend, etc.) would give.
1. Quit smoking. The nicotine drives up blood pressure by constricting the blood vessels. The tar and other chemicals present can cause him to wear out after a few minutes of sexual activity.

2.Exercise. Very important, this will help to counter the effects of smoking assuming that he quits. It will help to increase cardiovascular endurance, and overall endurance.

3. Dietary changes. Now I did not notice anything in your post about his eating habits. If they are like mine, then they would need to change. High cholesterol amount would be no good when coupled with constricted blood vessels. And no extra salt either. We get more than enough just by what we eat to add extra from a salt shaker.

4. Stress. This can kill an erection just as fast as anything. It can also force the blood pressure higher.

Now you have said he isn't having any problems right now in the action department, thats good. But just from the 4 examples above, you can see how bad it can get for men. And this only covers the physical side. By changing his habits now, it may be possible to steer him away from ED. Hope this helps, as it sure helped me.
