As far as having compassion for the poster, I do have because I agree with John that maybe she has some problems that she and her husband need to address. Her method of acting out without talking with her husband first about her feelings is incredibly inappropriate to say the least.
Eric I won't even discuss except to say that his actions show how uncaring, self-centered and insensitive he is. Why anyone who knows this about him would still want to have sex with him is for a better brain than mine to consider.
Her husband thought she was being mistreated and took very appropriate and loving action. Yet she ran after someone who was inconsiderate of her husband's feelings, her safety, and his own safety.
This lady is to be given compassion for obviously having some issues here, but it only goes so far if she doesn't realize that the way she handled herself and her relationship with her husband was just plain wrong.
