The act of "Swinging" is not illegal. The way that the "Swing Organization" operates may be.
Clubs only get raided for a few select reasons and usually that reason is a complaint from someone (irrate neighbor, dissatified patron, etc...) During the course of a raid scare tactics are common. The idea is to get someone to panic and divulge to the police additional information, preferably that of illegal activities. If there is nothing illegal going on, there is nothing the police can do other than scare you.
So make sure that your club operates legally, and has no tolerance for illegal activities. Do not rely on the club operator to provide you with information as to the legality of their establishment. Ignorance of the proper laws, codes and such is fairly prevalent and the downfall of most clubs. Do your homework and protect yourself.
If you aren't willing to do that, please stay home.
