Actually, we CAN'T say that we've ever been there! Regardless, whenever you meet a couple face-to-face for the first time, there is always a possibility that you might not be as compatible as you initially thought. In situations like that, we simply engage in a few minutes of polite conversation, then shake hands, say “Nice to meet you,” and go back home.
To minimize the possibility of getting stuck for hours with an incompatible couple, we always make sure that the first face-to-face meeting is in a public place. It’s okay to meet at a bar & grill for drinks, but we don’t recommend that you order a meal. That would take away your opportunity for a quick and graceful exit!
