We couldn't answer your poll (as a couple) as there is a 15 year difference between myself and my husband. We have never played with anyone older than my husband (he is 58) and we have never played with anyone younger than me. (I am 43)
However we have played with an age group range of about 44 to 56.

I really don't think age is a factor in how 'good or bad' someone is, it's more of a matter of choosing your partners wisely and everyone being compatible.
