As for full swap versus soft swap...who's to say once you go full you can't go back???
There are times I feel like soft for one reason or another.
I certainly hope that couples in this lifestyle understand that variety is the spice of life and sometimes I just want to enjpy the georgeous man I brought with me...but you can watch...( wicked wink)
As for the couple insisting you change what you want to do to suit them...you definetly did the right thing. Move at tyour own pace and enjoy!
