I did something that is somewhat geek-like. I recorded the interview onto an audio cassette and listened to it while driving to The Office and home again. I had to grip the steering wheel firmly. Kara's and Jarod's on-line conversations are stimulating and something of a distraction -- had to take one hand off the wheel every once in a while to mop my brow. Julie's interview was very interesting. As a long-time Swingersboard member, I enjoyed the brief review of the Web site's history. Kara and Jarod seemed impressed too. I was struck by the fact that they returned more than once to the thought that they wished that Swingersboard and The Swingers Manual had been around when they had first started their won explorations. Even the people who have gained some claim to fame had to begin somewhere. And they do, like most of us, have a need to occasionally re-examine where they are and who they are.
