I (male) have a permit to carry, but that probably wouldn't be a good idea! Can you see that falling out of the purse at the wrong time? The poor guy would think we were the nuts out to get him and would probably run outta the room nekkid whilst screaming! And it sure wouldn't look good sporting a shoulder holster and NOTHING else..
