I couldn't agree with you more.. here's my take on things..
1) most important is personality.. must have an awesome personality.. because when you are old and grey and everything has faded away it's all you have left...
2) sex.. i really think a good sex life is very important to a healthy relationship.
3) appearence.. they don't have to be a super model but they need to be active like me and i need to find them attractive..

oh i don't look at a bar.. i've found that most of those women are just taking people at face value.. and it's so annoying cause i'm not the hottest guy in the bar so they don't give me the time of day..
but i do exactly what you are talking about.. i take informal classes in things that interest my.. like photography.. out door things like kayaking or hiking etc.. i tend to meet a lot of nice people that way.. but few my age.. but you never know who those other people might know...
