As a female I was very intrigued by this post. Obviously this issue can be as important to us as the "keeping it up" subject with men.
I know that I notice a difference in my normal "odor" depending on my activity, time of year, etc. I am also aware that other women will not smell exactly the same as me and hubby and I will probably notice it quicker just because it is "new". Well we played with some friends this weekend and the next day we both brought up the subject that we noticed an odor. Well, honestly we called it "stank"...which sounds terrible...but it really did stank. We have played with this couple before a few years ago and do not remember encountering this situation.
We had all been out at a bar for most of the night and I would have expected somewhat of a "musky" smell but in my womanly opinion I think this was something more. Now this friend of mine has an IUD in place so there is no monthly cycle for her...but I believe this could actually play a part also as this is interferring with normal healthy bacteria in that area that are essential for the natural cleaning process. She is also currently trying out a bit of a diet so that could play a role in it as well.
But here is the kicker, after talking about it a lot more, Hubby mentioned that he smelt the same smell on my shoulder. I asked him which one and when he told me I realized that is the one she had been kissing and licking while we were sitting on the couch together before playing. He looked confused until I told him that the first thing I had noticed was her breath...it seems as though both ends had the same issue going on.
Glad to read see that we have this thread going on. I am not sure I feel it is necessary to bring it up to her at this point. However, we will play with them again..at that point if there is still an issue I may figure out a way to discuss as she is a very good friend of mine and will expect it. Hoping, at this point, that it was a fluke!
