Couples seeking females for FMF or FFM is a very common thing. This comes from the fact that many men's fantasies are FMF experiences. The challenge is that there aren't really a lot of single females out there. That is why we call them "Golden Unicorns!"
As Julie said, meeting a couple, then asking to enjoy a FMF or FFM with his SO, with nothing in it for him is going to be a stetch in most cases. Personally, I don't have a problem with sharing my wife with a couple that we have full swapped with in the past, and plan to in the future, so that the other guy can fulfill his fantasy. But if I knew up front that there would not be anything in it for me, well, I would have to take it on a case by case basis to determine if I would veto it. But the main thing is first that my wife would have to agree in concept before my opinion even came into play.
