I guess we got lucky too! Our (my) early experiences were with a couple we were friends with and progressed slowly from same room to eventually full swap. Then we fell in with a group of people that we have developed pretty good friendships with. Not all meetings end in swinging. It can be done, patience and flexability is the key.
