Savlon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The active ingredients in Savlon cream are Cetrimide and Chlorhexidine Gluconate

The cetrimonium (or hexadecyltrimethylammonium) cation is an effective antiseptic agent against bacteria and fungi.

Chlorhexidine is a chemical antiseptic.[1] It kills (is bactericidal to) both gram-positive and gram-negative microbes, although it is less effective with some gram-negative microbes. [2] It is also bacteriostatic.

Not a doc but.....it's easy to guess you have some kind of fungi or bacteria that is there on your skin that is a bit out of control.

Is there a reason you won't just keep using the cream? And have you told a doc you have to use the cream or did you just get antibiotics that didn't work and give up?
