I think you're in the right place
We've had lot of success with single men. Our method is to seek them out on singles sites. Things that are geared towards swingers don't tend to be overly singles friendly and if you go for a couple you'll have the wife to worry about - and since she's not part of your plan here, why bother with the added stress?
You might have some luck with clubs that allow single men, but I'm not a club goer so I don't really know. Someone is sure to come along with clubbing stats for you though
