Hubby doesn't like to have sex while I am on my period, but I've heard lore of men who love it. What's the story? Are any swingers getting lucky during that time of the month, and HOW on earth does one approach getting THAT out on the table??
I am not sure how long your period normally lasts. Since you started on Wednesday, Saturday would be day 4. Many women's cycles are tapering off by then (even if it's a 7 day period)...so a courtesy mention that you are in the middle of your period, and let potential playpartners access the situation. The first time we swapped the other woman had started the day before. We didn't mind..as her boyfriend was fond of saying, 'I'll swim in that river, but I won't drink from it.' Yeah, kind of a yucky visual I think...but it let us know where he stood on the subject.

I guess I got lucky with my first boyfriend and then later, my first husband who had no problems playing during that time...it just meant we threw down some towels or played in the shower.

I think for most women, especially if they don't mind playing on their period, it's just easier to say 'No play tonight b/c of this' rather than risk having a potential partner think that playing during that time is the most discusting thing they've ever heard of. I mean, until the situation is presented you never know if your're getting a 'eh, just throw some towels down' kind of guy or an 'ew yuck yuck yuck' kind of guy.

Do what you are comfortable with. What does your hubby think about you playing during your period? If you do play, remember to use lube.
