Some of the women on the Board have had success using Instead as protection when swinging on one's period.

I don't have sex on my period with men other than the spouse and even with the spouse, I'm not doing it until the last couple of days when it's far less of an issue. I'm not interested the first three days whatsoever due to my general crankiness during that time.
