I think you've come to the right place.
Despite my mature age, I too am new to the lifestyle, but been curious for years. With kids at home, businesses to run, and a host of demanding community commitments, I just never got around to it. The few people I've met through this group have been totally understanding, not pushy and just real fine people.
As we get to your part of the world every few months to visit relatives, maybe we'll link up some day. We're from the S.F. Bay Area, and were just in LV about three weeks ago.
