Yep, a few years ago I did. After all these years she is pretty hard to buy for. I have a bad habit of just going out and getting anything she wants when she mentions it so when special times come around, it can get tough.
It was a very special trash can though. All stainless steel, with one of those foot peddles on it so that you can open it with your foot. She kept saying she needed a better trash can next to her desk so she got one.
Just happened to be her birthday.
Well, tonight we have two new black kittens running around my house. A month ago our beloved dog that we had for fifteen years died. We said no more pets, ever. Lately Laura and daughter been hinting about kittens so we went to the place here in Vegas that rescues animals and got two kittens that are sisters that are four months old. They "fixed" them for us, put a microchip in them and they are home today. Now to come up with names. They way they are acting I have a couple of names but not ones that the kids and grandkids can use.
