Re: E-stem as sex toy TENS (Transcutaneus Electrical Nerve Stimulator) units have very low voltage, and are used on the upper back and shoulders all of the time. The electrodes lose their "stickiness" quite easily and have to be taped in place much of the time, but they can be cut to size as well.
Never tried it but will have to give it a go since I have a few of these lying around. A good one will not only stimulate but pulse as well but of course those kinds are more expensive.
As far as electrode placement, for theraputic purposes there really is no right or wrong answer as to where they go. Much of their placement is trial and error for medical uses. If you wanted to get technical a book on acupunture might give you some ideas. |
