I am using a gel, it is called AndroGel. It cums in a pump bottle, I use four pumps which administers 5 g per day. It is rubbed into my shoulders. I've not been tested since I started it about 3 months ago. My next appointment is in August.
Oh, one other thing, this stuff isn't cheap! There are two pump bottles in a box which is enough for one month at 4 pumps per day (5 g), this cost $285, my insurance only covers 90% so I have to pay some. I've read about patches but don't know much about them like how strong each patch is (ie. 2.5 or 5 g each), if they are 5 g they would be cheaper by quite a bit. The cost for 30 patches is about $50, but again I don't know how strong they are.
