Why do I open a thread if the apparent subject doesnt interest us? Maybe I am just nosy.But seriously tho,when reading posts, there is always more than a nugget of wisdom embedded in them.There is always something new to learn or discover.We always read the contributions of certain posters who we liketo knowtheir views.Of course some threads start with one specific issue but may make many twists and turns and other issues are raised,which then provoke the entry of other contributors.Threads on race for example or interracial matters seem a popular stepping stone which inevitably bring in new posters with very varied perceptions and other popular or unpopular views.Perhaps where time permits it is good to read as many threads as it helps one to atleast keep pace with the many and varied themes of concern to SB posters. |
