I've heard that drinking something like lemon or lime juice also makes the erection go down. Somthing about releaving some kind of gas in the cells that makes it possible for them to fill with blood to get the erection in the first place?
I think that the drug that you are referring to is amantadine (Symmetrel)? but I am NOT an MD, but a psychologist. It could be something else? Also, an erection that lasts longer than 4 hrs. is trouble! You really need to see an MD if the erection will not go away -- and that may well mean a trip to an emergency facility. Forget any embarrassment, it happens regularly especially with the ED drugs everywhere. Erections that long can potentially cause impotence and/or sterility -- don't mess around if you have an erection that lasts that long! Further it is rather painful Maybe the dose that you are using is too high? I have tried Viagra and Cialis -- I like Cialis much better, personally, but the downside is that with a 1/2 life of roughly 36 hrs. any side effects are going to be with you for the better part of 2 - 3 days ( compared to, say, Viagra). I have yet to try Levitra...when I use Cialis or Viagra I always use 1/2 of a dose as that is all that I usually require (can always take the other half, right)? -- but everyone is different. I have found that the 2 major side effects are GI distress and headache -- Cialis is better tolerated by me...hope that this was of some help. Good luck! Again, don't wait on erections that last longer than 4 hrs. -- follow the manufacturer's advice as well as your physician.
