I'm about 5.5", which they say is average, but to judge by the people we play with and what I see in the locker room, I'd say I'm below average. The funny thing is, swinging has actually taken away most of my insecurity about it. We've played with some couples where the guy was a good 7-8 and the woman has seemed to really enjoy my efforts (even passed on good reviews about me to my wife while they chatted privately.) So I no longer feel that awkwardness when we all disrobe and my little guy makes his first appearence.

And the really ironic part of this is that my wife has discovered she really enjoys the occasional large (8") guy. She admits a large one feels different and in some ways better. So now, I'm hoping to see a guy bigger than me when we play!
