Some interesting thoughts in this thread, and I have to agree with the pleasure part - but from a slightly different angle.

I like to switch back and forth from penetration to oral several times in a play session. Condoms limit my style because of their nasty taste and the taste they leave behind. Somehow I get stuck in my thinking when condoms are involved that once penetration begins, it's thrusting till it's over. Then we wash that yucky condom taste away.

If she's more comfortable with condoms, I'll wear one - but I know in advance it's not going to be as intense as it could otherwise be....
