I don't find it difficult, and like sharing with people. The thing about sharing is that I decide how much I want to share, whether on this Board or any other forum. Also, in person I choose how much about myself I want to divulge.
I'm not the type of person who wants people dropping by my house unannounced, I am careful about the information I give out and don't give anything to solicitors (they can be very clever about getting info from people; not with me), I like time by myself and don't want other people around me too often or for too long.
People often say "you can never have too many friends" but I would disagree. Too much of anyone (or anything) can get too close for comfort for me.
