You're going to be terribly disappointed, rpu3, cuz I'm not a traveler nor do I have a desire to be one, so I don't have any exoctic story to tell.
I like a good bed and nice sheets, so my best trips included good bedding: a down comforter about 12 inches thick in Germany, and a beautiful hotel while on a Swingers Board Meet Up in Indianapolis.
I don't care for tourists or tourist spots. I prefer being in the wilderness to the city. My ideal trip would be visiting friends in another part of the U.S. who live in the country on a ranch or farm or in the woods. And of course, they'd have a wonderful bed waiting for me.
