Haha! Yes we are both from down in the coal fields of Southwest Virginia. How we ended up down here in Texas? Well, that was a case of my beautiful bride getting homesick. Her mom & dad retired and moved from Wytheville, VA, to East Texas. She didn't like being 900 miles away from her parents, so I put in for a transfer at work and here we are.
Now, I love the warm weather in Texas, but I really miss my mountains. My family still lives up there, so we do try to get up to see them as often as we can. The bad part is, no good swing clubs in western Virginia. So we will have to stop in either Nashville or Knoxville on the way up.
