Sorry to post this so late...but just noticed it. I realize your weekend has come and gone...but I like to put my 2 cents in anyways. I know everyone loves movies...but IMO watching a movie when you have another couple over to play is kind of pointless. I mean...when I was single, I wouldn't go on a first date with someone who wanted to go to the movies, and I love movies. You can't interact when a movies playing, everyone is expected to be quiet, and no one is talking or flirting, etc. I think being more active is better...playing a game, having a quiet conversation, sitting in a hottub, having some soft porn in the background, or perhaps listening to music would be better. By the way.....what did you decide to do and how did it go? Perhaps you'll prove me wrong and a movie was just the thing......
