Knowing your guests and yourselves is what will help you. I normally don't like playing games (I deal games at a casino). Movies would interest me. Comedy is good. I like Moulin Rouge. But, it shouldn't take over the evening either. Old fashion conversation? Soft porn for soft swinging?
