Who the hell would tell their mother something that they wouldn't tell their spouse?
I'm sorry to hear that this happened to you. Definitely sucks. But that's the risk we take when we tell others our secrets. If it were me, I probably would give him one chance to explain himself and then write him off for good. I don't need people around that I can't trust.
