I'm sorry, and I know that I'm gonna get tore up for saying this, but this is apples and oranges and I would know better than to say something that dumb. And mind you, I've said some really dumb shit.

My wife is the only "lover" I've ever had, and of course she is the best. But my wife is in a category all her own. No other woman even gets lumped in there.

I'm all for honesty, but there is something to be said for nuance. There is a big difference between saying "honey, I think a different dress would be more flattering on you" and "my God you look like a fat ass in that."

Have we had women that were really, really good? Sure! Better than her? No, because even if my wife just laid there (which is far from the truth), it is a whole different thing, and I would never try to lump her in.

Has she had guys who were technically better than me? Maybe. But I'm different. I'm HER man. I have a place all to myself.

I mean no disrespect, but this just seems like a really good example of what happens when we men forget to put in our stupid filter, and shit just comes pouring out of our mouth without being processed through the brain first.

Apologize, attempt to re-explain your position, and reminder her that we are, by nature, dumb-asses from time to time.

Feel free to flame me for this all you want, but if you are a man, and you are honest with yourself, you have said something really stupid in the past to your wife, you have watched the words come out of your own mouth, and wished like a mother-fucker you could pull them back just as soon as they came out.
