But as far as etiquette ( did I spell that right?) on a play date dinner you are cooking...I just avoid eggs, beans, and roughage (cabbage mainly) And oranges, but that's for my husbands benefit. *shudders to think of him eating oranges around ANYONE*

Also, large amounts of garlic. I am Italian, and we do love our garlic in EVERYTHING. But I try to cut back on it when cooking for others, vanilla or not. Noone wants to sit next to someone with that kinda breath. That or I make sure there are plenty of spare toothbrushes, mints, and mouthwash.
