After reading your posting at length,FRISSON, and, as your answers pertain to my original question, I think we are actually more in agreement than disagreement.
Sorry to hear that you have encountered such negativity (i.e., women coerced into threesomes, men dragging their wives from parties etc.). I can understand why these experiences would influence your preceptions.
I still would be interested in hearing what others have to say on the original topic, though.
