The Spoos arranged an outstanding meetup as far as I'm concerned, even though I was only able to attend the initial event (drinks and dinner) on the first night.

I've been to some meet & greets arranged by a NE Ohio Yahoo Group I belong to. At those events, which usually hosted 50+ people (at least double the number of us in Columbus) everyone I talked to was friendly, and the M&Gs were held in bars where there were some finger foods, dancing, and there were nooks and crannies where it was easy to have conversations with other folks. So those were good, I got to meet some people, and had a good time.

In comparison, the difference with the Swingers Board meetup is that most of us who showed up in Columbus had at least a little background information -- if we read the posts on this Board -- on EVERYONE attending. We had an idea WHO would be there, and there was the effort made to introduce EVERYONE to EVERYONE else. The Spoos and others made an effort to engage everyone in conversation. As far as I could see, if anyone felt left out, it was their own fault.

So all of you other regular posters and/or lurkers, if you want a good no-pressure fun time to meet other swingers, Board meet & greets are a great way to go.
