I think it is easy to confuse a Swinger's Board "Meet Up!" with a typical meet and greet. We saw a lot of this before the Ohio Meet Up! and even a little bit afterwards. They are definitely different types of animals and as Julie said, having some existing relationships - along with the anticipation of meeting so many people that we already know virtually - makes our Meet Ups! so much fun!
But - they aren't the same as a meet and greet where the main goal is to find people to eventually have sex with... Instead, we are just giving substance to the friendships that already exist here.
We were worried about you guys coming since you weren't real active on the board. And - had it been anyone else - they might have been miserable! You and Mr. PL were so wonderfully social and interesting that after just a few minutes you guys were like long time friends and I am willing to bet everyone in the group felt that way about you both.
It didn't hurt that you came with LOL-OMG who are some of the most beautiful spirits you'll ever meet. What would have been a recipe for a miserable time for anyone else was one of the great strokes of good luck for us!
We will do another Meet Up! soon. We can't help it - they are so much fun. But it will be a little while - we are still getting ourselves together after the last one
We are very glad to have spoiled you two. You deserve a little spoiling!!!
But - in all honesty - Swingers Board Meet Ups! are successful not because of the hosts, but because of the people who attend - and we had an incredible group of folks! We could not have asked for a better turn out. There was not one person that showed up who we didn't wish we had gotten more time with!
