Ok, here's what happened.
Our very first meet and greet was put on by the Spoos, they were the perfect host and hostess! They had the weekend planned with fun things to do, time to socialize, and party times with dinner and dancing. We really got to know the people that attended. We had the best time! But they have ruined us
Our second meet and greet was this weekend. As, the time was drawing near for this, I saw things that made me go ...hmmm. But, it was too late to back out, so I went with the mind set that we would go and have a good time.
To make a long story short, it turned out to be ...everyone show up at the club, listen to a bad bar band, and leave.
There were probably 20 to 30 couples there, the band was loud and not very good. We tried to start up conversations to no avail. We spent a lot of money to go see a band in another town.
Mr. and Mrs. SpooMonkey, you should write a book on etiquette for meet ups, and how to be the perfect hosts!
