I DO shave everything that is typically "used"; balls, my shaft down to the base and the regions even a bit lower (you just never know what sort of freaks you'll run into out there  ). And while I trim my "patch" I don't shave it - to avoid the "weird" look. I could shave all of my body hair, but I'm afraid I'd look like a husky cub scout...

We'd probably just say "shaved below and trimmed above" to describe what you just explained. The way you groom is exactly the way Mr. Tybee does it, and for me, it's just right.

Personally, I don't like the
everything shaved look on men down there, like you said the blank patch looks funny next to the body hair.
