Not only that but what do you tell his mother if she finds out? I mean after all he may be 18 but he is her baby and up until now your huband has put himself in a position of, as you said, a father figure, someone he trusts. Some how saying "I waited until he turns legal" really isn't going to make her feel much better. I know, speaking as a mother, I wouldn't be too thrilled that my 18 year old was carrying on with a married woman, even if her husband knew. Then if the mother knows you can be sure that the other neighbours are going to find out pretty quick and soon you are the talk of the neighbourhood.
. You have to remember that I tend to think of the worst case scenario here, but I think there is a lot of value in that in this particular instance.
Personally I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole. There are lots of swingers out there you can play with, why get into a potentially ugly situation.
