If it was just us and another couple it wouldn't really be "whatever" it would be for sex. If you don't want to have sex with this couple I wouldn't go at all.
Now if it was a house party with multiple couples attending then it may be whatever.
Forget the ice breakers and games with only two couples. Get in the hot tub, naked of course, and cozy up to the other couple and things will get going without having to wait for hours.
