It depends on the swingers of course. We have had swinger friends at family functions, but only those we have a TRUE friendship with, not just because of swinging. I don't think casual sex builds a real friendship.
If your only point of interest with a couple is swinging I'd want to keep them out of most vanilla situations if it includes your vanilla friends. Something can be said that might make your friends begin to wonder. Even small talk can make old vanilla friends wonder about these 'new' friends.
