Thank you all for your replies...I feel better knowing I did the right thing. I did call them last night and told them that I was sorry if something I said came across as judgemental, that its ultimately their decision, and that I am their friend and I support them, even when I cannot support their decisions. So hopefully this will all work out for the best.
