I both agree and disagree with intuition897. If the situation were reversed, the guy would be verbally castrated by many people for breaking the rules.
However, As anyone who has been in swinging for any length of time knows, people CAN get caught up in the "heat of the moment". Does that make it right...no. But it does happen.
Mrs. DD and I have a set of general guidelines rather than hard and fast rules (snicker...he said hard and fast

) When we started, we found that the rules we had set for ourselves were too restrictive and couldn't address many of the situations we were in. Now, we try to be mindful of each other's feelings when we are at a party, and we DO talk about things, especially if they make one of us uncomfortable.
