I think the best answer to your question would be to quit making "some witty remark" when she brings this up and ask HER what does this all mean
Having any of us here guess what it is she means would be just that...a guess. She is the only one that can truely tell you whether this is just a topic of conversation, a fantasy of hers, or perhaps something she would like to explore further.
