I’m allergic to most variations of both, but I prefer the mindless friendliness of dogs to the more finicky remoteness of cats. Just to stereotype. However, I can understand and appreciate that "cool" cat aloofness thing very well. Close friends of mine have two of each. If I'm around their pets but haven't taken my Claritin (anti-allergy med) then they
all are all over me. But it seems the cats stay away when I take the Claritin.
