I go brazillian during the summer (most of the year ) here.

I finally found someone that can wax without making me scream in pain. The first few times hurt like hell.

On the bright side, your skin will toughen up with each subsequent wax and won't hurt as bad. The best part is that it only hurts as your being waxed. My skin was never sensitive afterwards.....and don't forget no stubble for a few weeks. No bumps, no itching!! Yay!

The most important thing is finding someone with a lot of experience in this field. My girl has me exfolliate prior to seeing her. She powders the area to be waxed, and does a small area at a time, pulling the skin taught as she removes the wax. The first time you go, go without shaving and just trim the hairs to about 1/8- 1/4" long. I usually will take a few advil about 20 minutes before I go.

It is well worth the discomfort.
