But then I read some of the previous threads here on the board having to do with hood piercings and found that no one waited that long to resume sexual activity. So, I went ahead and got it done. Hubby and I played around that very night and a couple nights later. Because of the nature of the skin in that area, it heals very quickly. Five weeks was definitely an exaggeration. If I were a piercer, I would probably encourage folks to abstain for maybe a few days to a week at the most. As long as you are careful, it's fine, and it is certainly determined by how much pain you have after the piercing. I had none. | Yep, I heard the same, you-can't-have-sex-for-a-year type stories. We waited 4 or five days and used a position that wouldn't have a large amount of grinding. It was all good. It heals faster than any other peircing I've had too.
